I know that this was posted to the front page already, but what wasnt mentioned was the fact that this picture matches CAD documents that leaked last September. Now, Correct me if im wrong, but the fact that the CAD pictures of this new engine leaked at the same time that the original C7 CAD pictures leaked pretty much makes it clear that the supercharged v8 pictured below is going in the Z06/Z07 (if it was for the ZR1, I doubt it would leak so early, since the zr1 usually is released at least 5 years after the base) So, OPPO, What is your theory?

Awwwwwww, even chevy is going the way of BMW, getting rid of high-revving high output engines in favor of FI :(
Also...uhh...this supercharged LT1 isn't going to make less power than the LS9 it's apparently replacing. So...uhh...what's the power goals for the new ZR1?

its probably making less hp, but Id still expect the engine to be lighter, and for it to be making at least 600hp, with a better torque curve, and more efficiency than the LS9. I also wouldn't be surprised if the new ZR1 makes more than 700hp

Good to relay that, I'm not sure how many knew this.
Also, I hope that's for the ZR1 on a better engine. The Z06 should be NA. Honestly, I don't think the cat is out of the bag yet on the 'vette, despite the positive reviews it has gotten especially on performance.
